Schaedler Yesco Distribution, Inc.
has a combined history of over 140 years in servicing the electrical industry and is based on a foundation firmly established by two companies deep-rooted in attributes such as integrity, personal responsibility, perseverance, and hard work.
Schaedler Bros., Inc. was created in 1924 by brothers Harry, Andrew, and William Schaedler, a partnership that started simply with the purchasing, plating, assembling, and selling of light fixture parts.
Twenty years later, Motter Electric Company was incorporated to distribute electrical supplies. In 1956, Motter officially changed its name to York Electrical Supply Company (YESCO).
In 1999 the two companies merged into one organization known today simply as "Schaedler Yesco" and is the largest electrical distributor headquartered in Central PA with locations in Harrisburg, York, Lancaster, Lebanon, Williamsport, Chambersburg, State College, Pocono Mtns, St. Marys, New Oxford, Gettysburg, and Indiana.
