Engineered to Outlast photo contest celebrates 110 years of Allen-Bradley quality
The Allen-Bradley® line of products began when Lynde Bradley and Dr. Stanton Allen formed the Compression Rheostat Company. Who could have known that with a small investment the pair would make a big impact on automation products and solutions for more than a century – and counting.

Evidence of that legacy was shared in the Engineered to Outlast photo contest. Hundreds of historical images showcased the quality and innovation associated with the Allen-Bradley brand over the last 110 years.

Seamless integration with more connectivity. New PowerFlex® 525 AC compact drives feature DeviceNet® communication modules that allow installation and configuration at the same time to increase productivity.



Flexible, rugged safety solutions for non-standard configurations. The compact SafeZone™ mini safety laser scanner is designed for stationary and mobile applications with a scanning angle of 270°. With a single configurable safety field and additional configurable warning fields, the scanner is ideal for personnel detection in front of a machine with an irregularly shaped configuration.



Integrated motion on EtherNet/IP absolute encoders. Designed for motion control applications that require feedback-only axes, the new Bulletin 842E-CM absolute encoders support the standard motion instruction set in the Studio 5000™ Logix Designer application. By providing auxiliary feedback directly through an EtherNet/IP network, these encoders eliminate the need for point-to-point wiring.




Free download: Connected Components Workbench™ Software Version 4.0. Provides common, easy-to-use configuration and programming tool for devices. New features include CIP Explicit messaging and full support for digital I/O plug-ins.


Product Compatibility and Download Center. Now includes industrial computer, monitor drivers and BIOS. The familiar and robust interface you've used for all other Allen-Bradley downloads now includes recovery system images (such as base operating system images) to restore your system, with the factory included system cloning utility or integrated backup and restore functionality.

Smaller terminals offer higher levels of performance. Advancements in PanelView™ Plus 6 400/600 and PanelView Plus 6 400/600 compact terminals make these ideal for OEMs and end users with midrange applications. Terminals are complementary to the new CompactLogix™ 5370 controllers.
